Denison University Swasey Chapel
Swasey Chapel, completed in 1924 as the first building in Arnold Brunner and Frederick Olmsted’s campus plan, is Denison’s most iconic structure and one of its most beloved buildings. The 990-seat space hosts all manner of celebrated campus moments including interfaith religious services, lectures, guest speakers, internationally renowned artists, and thought and opinion leaders. The historic tower bells atop Swasey chime daily across campus, performed by a semi-secret student society of bell ringers. Renovation services following the bell tower upgrades included acoustics and AV consulting for this signature campus space.
