BIG (Barrier Island Group) for the Arts Sanibel

Barrier Island Group for the Arts (BIG ARTS) is a community-driven organization serving Sanibel and Captiva artists and audiences that flock to the barrier island. It offers 200+ workshops annually spanning the visual, performing, and dramatic arts, and is a focal point of the island’s unique cultural life. Designed in the unique Sanibel Captiva architectural style, this stunning new building features a 410-seat ‘jewel box’ hall built to weather both tourists and hurricanes, and an outdoor performance / gathering space. Extensive vistas from every part of the building trumpet the beauty of Sanibel Island.
