Aventura Arts and Cultural Center
Nestled along the Intracoastal Waterway, this new LEED-silver facility holds a 320-seat proscenium theatre showcasing acoustic and amplified music events, dance, off-Broadway shows, spoken-word oratory, and video productions. The extremely tight site also incorporated a multi-function lobby, administrative offices, dressing rooms, green room, loading dock, security center, and ancillary support spaces. The project required comprehensive attention to room acoustic and theatrical environments, as well as full services in noise control and audio/video systems through the design and contract administration phases.
