Alex attended the University of Florida graduating Summa Cum Laude in 2017 with at Bachelor of Design in Architecture and a minor in Music Performance. Her studies were focused on model making, hand drawing, material studies and digital drawing/modeling. She gained an understanding of music theory, history, and performance as a principal trombone player with the University of Florida Symphonic Band.
Alex went on to attend Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut and received her Master of Architecture in 2021. Upon graduating, she specialized in residential design with several award-winning firms. Throughout her studies, Alex spent summers interning at ED+A Acoustics. In 2024 the firm was excited to welcome her as a full-time member of the consulting team.
She currently prepares acoustical calculations, develops digital drawings and models using AutoCAD, REVIT, Rhino, EASE-RA, and analyses data with advanced acoustical software. She has conducted on-site acoustical testing for projects ranging from theaters and auditoriums to clubhouses and hotels.
