Housed within the shell of Boca Raton’s former Cartoon Museum, this new 300-seat multi-form theater features an emphasis on natural acoustic music. With a highly flexible audience seating area, the room can be adapted for both end-stage productions and thrust stage / theater-in-the-round configurations. An acoustic shell can be visually removed by curtains, while a raised rear control room allows clear views to all acting and audience areas. Attention to all areas of the project’s theatrical design, rigging, performance lighting, mechanical and AV systems, and acoustic environment have yielded a much loved room that supports a wide range of performances.
