The renovation and selective demolition of an existing 128,000 gsf department store to a 1,200-seat worship center required significant re-envisioning of the existing Boynton Beach Mall. Major modifications included removing structure to obtain desired sanctuary ceiling height, new mechanical systems, and full interior fit-out of a nursery, children’s ministry, youth ministry, adult classrooms, and cafe. Comprehensive attention to acoustics, mechanical noise, and theatrical systems throughout the complex were critical to the new incarnation of this space.
