American Airlines Arena Noise Study, Miami, FL

ED+A was commissioned to review the existing noise levels within the American Airlines Arena and make recommendations to reduce the noise levels for conducting interviews to be recorded within the room. Acoustic consulting was provided by measuring noise levels within the arena and developing design approaches to minimize noise from the electrical room to the surrounding spaces.

FIU KCC Recording Studio, Biscayne Bay, FL

ED+A assisted the design team with the renovation of an existing small room into a studio recording suite within FIU's Kovens Conference Center. ED+A provided mechanical noise control and developed design approaches for the acoustic environment.

New World Symphony, Miami, FL

ED+A, in collaboration with Nagata Acoustics America, confirmed elements of the architectural design and noise control strategies during the construction administration phase of this $160 million, 107,000 sf educational facility. The 690+ seat concert hall boasts vineyard seating, a recording/broadcast studio, a rooftop garden, an exterior projection wall, and outstanding musicians primed to teach, both indoors and out.
